ولد عام 1887.
هو ابن مفتي طرابلس الشيخ رشيد، وحفيد قاضيها عبد الحميد، ووالد رئيسي مجلس الوزراء على التوالي: الشهيد رشيد كرامي، والمحامي عمر كرامي. ولد في طرابلس، وكانت شعبيته في الشارع الطرابلسي واسعة. وفي أواخر عهد الإنتداب الفرنسي، اختاره ابناء الشمال نائباً لهم في مجلس النواب. عام 1365، اختارته رئاسة الجمهورية رئيساً لمجلس الوزراء. كذلك، مثّل لبنان في تأسيس الجامعة العربية. وتوفي في 23 ت2 1950.

Today, I went to the beachfront with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old
daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed.
